MEDEA LASSONIDI
Medea Lassonidi (born 1956) - Greece
1980 - graduated from Kiev Music College – diploma in solo singing and
coaching
1983 - she studied coaching at the Department of Singing at Kiev Academy and at
the same time at Small Opera in Kiev (opera for youth and children)
1989 – National Opera House in Kiev
1991 – engaged in National Greek Opera House in Athens (four seasons)
1992 – finished studying singing with professor Kiki Morfoniu
She has been performing in theatres all over Europe. In the Czech Republic, she
played the role of Micaela in Carmen, Mimi in Puccini’s La Boheme and the title
role in Aida by Verdi.
In Slovakia she had the role of Leonora in Il Trovatore.
Slovenian Opera House has asked her to study the famous La Gioconda and the part
of Margueritte in Faust by Gounod.
In Greece she sang in La Bohema and in Ukraine in Aida.
The Novosibirsk Opera House expects her to take the part of Marie in Wozzeck by
Berg.
At the moment she teaches singing at private conservatory Synchrono Odeio in
Athens.
